Last few days in Aix!

I am coming home this weekend! I have really enjoyed my time in Aix, and I'm sure I will come back, but I will be very glad to see my hubby!

This week they upped the level of our class from C1 to C2, so we are doing more: writing, presenting, more grammar, a bit more intense overall. Yesterday we had to bring in two news stories, one true, one not true, to test our ability to lie in French!

I had a lovely conversation (finally) in Spanish with my Mexican classmate. We are both a bit obsessed with French right now!

On the recommendation of my friend Sabina, I bought a linen top and pants in the market on the Cours Mirabeau, and had a lovely conversation with the vendor. She had a great provencal accent.I also went and bought some santons for souvenirs, and the lady had a great provencal accent too. You don't hear it just everywhere, but it is the local accent.
